Nha Trang — Bo Y and Moc Bai
Visa run from Nha Trang: how our overnight run works and what it costs
We operate these departures ourselves: our coaches, our administrator on the pick-up point, our people at the crossing. Below is the schedule, what the price is made of and how the border day actually goes.
- Two borders: Laos and Cambodia
- Evening departure, back the next evening
- Stamp trip or a 90-day visa done for you
We quote in chat, in English or Russian — tell us your dates and where you are. Also on WhatsApp.

Two routes, one class of coach
Out of Nha Trang we drive to two borders. North-west to Bo Y on the Laos side, and south to Moc Bai on the Cambodian one. Same sleeper coaches, same administrator model, different crossings and different prices.
Bo Y is the default. It is cheaper on the stamp option and faster on the visa one, so unless a date is sold out or your plans point south, that is the one we book you on. Moc Bai earns its place twice: when the Laos coach on your date is full, and when you specifically want a different checkpoint on your passport history.
Why it is a day and a night, not a day
From Da Nang the border is close enough to leave at night and be home by afternoon. From Nha Trang it is not. Every departure here is an evening one, the crossing happens the following morning and midday, and you are back in town that evening. Twenty-four hours on the clock, two days in your calendar.
That geography is also why the coach is a sleeper rather than a minibus. You get a berth, not a reclining seat, plus air conditioning, wireless chargers, free Wi-Fi and stops along the way. The point of the format is simple: the part of the trip you cannot enjoy should happen while you are asleep.
The one thing we do differently here
On our Nha Trang departures the administrator stays with the group from the pick-up point to the return, the border included. On the Da Nang routes the escort brings the group to the checkpoint and waits outside — that is the honest difference between the two operations.
At the crossing this is worth more than any comfort feature. You are not reading a printed instruction and guessing which counter is currently open; someone who does this run every week walks it with you.
How it looks

How it works
21:00
Laos route: first pick-up
77 Thai Nguyen at 21:00, No. 4 Tran Phu next to Muong Thanh at 21:15, Hoang Van Thu at 21:30. You collect your ticket at the point — nothing is printed in advance.
21:30
Cambodia route: departure
The Moc Bai coach leaves at 21:30 and works two points, southern and northern. Same coach class, different border.
overnight
The drive
Berth, air conditioning, wireless chargers, free Wi-Fi, several stops. There is no toilet on board — that is what the stops are for.
morning
The crossing
Exit Vietnam, the other side, re-entry. A stamp takes as long as the queue. A new 90-day visa adds processing time: around four hours at Moc Bai, noticeably less at Bo Y.
next evening
Back into town
The group returns together on the same coach. Timings are honest estimates — a border queue is the one thing nobody controls.
What it costs
Our pick
Laos, Bo Y — 45-day stamp
1,400,000 VND
- Return trip with a berth
- Three pick-up points, 21:00 to 21:30
- Administrator with the group, border included
No visa is issued here: the stay comes from the stamp, and there is nothing to pay for it.
Cambodia, Moc Bai — 45-day stamp
1,600,000 VND
- Return trip with a berth
- Departure 21:30, southern and northern points
- The fallback when the Laos date is sold out
The 200,000 VND difference is the route itself, not a better service.
90-day e-visa, single entry
4,200,000 VND
- Return trip plus the new visa
- Application, government fee and entry point handled by us
- Result guaranteed or a 100% refund
Identical price on both borders.
90-day e-visa, multiple entry
4,900,000 VND
- Same package, with re-entry rights
- For people who fly out and come back mid-visa
- Result guaranteed or a 100% refund
You pay nothing separately on the government portal.
The final number depends on your dates, where you are now and which border you cross — we count it in chat, before you pay anything.
What the number covers
On a stamp trip the price is the return journey with a berth and the administrator alongside — no visa is issued, so there is nothing else inside it. Your stay comes from the officer’s stamp at the crossing, and it costs nothing.
On a 90-day visa trip the price covers the journey and the visa together: we check your data, fill in the application, pay the government fee with our card and set the correct entry point, so nothing lands on you at the portal. That is also why the visa part is paid upfront — we pay it upfront ourselves.
Both e-visa packages, on either border, carry the guarantee: the result or a 100% refund, no conditions and no exclusions. Stamp trips do not carry it, and we would rather say so on the page than in a chat afterwards — the length of stay there is granted by an officer, not by us. The only real ground for refused entry is being on the Vietnamese immigration blacklist. We turn nobody away at the door.
Booking, seats and the honest version
Book one to two weeks ahead. Bookings run through the administrator, who holds the list for each date; there is no waiting list and we do not open seats beyond capacity, so a sold-out date is genuinely sold out.
And the honest part: this trip can be done alone. Public transport goes that way, the border is open to you, nobody needs an agency to stamp a passport. What people buy from us is the parts that go wrong on their own — the connections, the counters, the language, and the government fee that will not go through on a foreign card while you are standing at the crossing with no plan B.
Tell us the date your current stay ends and which border suits your plans, and we will come back with the exact number for your case — including the case where doing it yourself is the cheaper answer.

Tell us three things — your dates, where you are now and a scan of your passport page. That is the whole starting kit; everything after it is on us. If your case turns out cheaper to do yourself, we will say so.
