Vietnam visa prices: what a visa run and a 90-day e-visa cost
Every number we charge is on this page. No form to fill in before you are told a figure, and no quote that changes once we know who is asking.

Two currencies show up, and that is deliberate rather than sloppy. Visas are priced in dollars because the Vietnamese visa trade has always counted them that way; road fares out of Da Nang are quoted in dong. We do not convert one into the other at an invented internal rate.
The split that decides which half of this page is yours is simple. Already in Vietnam and your stay is running out — you need a visa run, the two packages below. Still abroad, flying in later — you need the e-visa further down, applied for before you travel.

The final number depends on your dates, where you are now and which border you cross — we count it in chat, before you pay anything.
The 90-day e-visa, applied for before you fly
No border trip, no road. You send a passport scan and your dates, we fill in the application, pay the government fee and send back the finished visa as a file. The only thing that separates the tiers is how fast it lands.

Working days mean working days: the visa service is shut at weekends and on Vietnamese public holidays, so a Friday order on the two-day tier lands on Tuesday. Multiple entry adds $25 to whichever tier you pick, and that $25 also covers the higher $50 government fee — on the week tier the whole thing comes to $80.
If your flight is already booked and five working days won’t fit, the 24-hour tiers on the urgent e-visa page are the ones that skip the queue.
Single entry ends at your first exit from the country. If you already know you will be flying out and back within the ninety days, the multiple-entry version is cheaper than doing this twice.
Two visas in one order
If you need a pair of visas that overlap — a second one starting before the first runs out — that is not a straight doubling of the price, and we do not have a single figure to print for it here. It depends on the two date ranges and how far they overlap. Send us both, and we work the number out in the chat before anything is paid.
What you pay separately
One item, and it is not ours. At the crossing the officer takes 200,000 ₫ per person, in cash, with no change given — passport fees split across four points at 50,000 ₫ each. Bring small notes; nobody at the border will break a large one.
That money goes to the border, not through our till. It is not a surcharge, not a service fee and not something we mark up — it simply is not part of any price above, and we would rather tell you now than let you find out at the window.
How to pay
Bank transfer or cash. That is the whole list. There is no card acquiring on this site — you will not be asked for card details anywhere, and if a page ever asks you for them, it is not ours.
The visa part is settled before the application goes in, because the government fee leaves our card first: the evisa.gov.vn portal rejects Russian and plenty of foreign cards, which is exactly the wall most people hit when they try to do this themselves. Transport on a visa run can be paid on the day you travel.

Went to the border yesterday, got lucky and ended up on the VIP bus instead of the regular one (wish it was always like that), overall went to plan (arrived a bit later because of roadworks), comfy transport, views on the way were impressive, Viettel has signal almost the whole route, no lines at the border. Free coffee and bananas in the morning for the road. Listen to the organizers and bring a snack with you, even a small one. Olga 28 Visa: Same here. Except the coffee.
